Hey there, so glad you found your way here! A bit about me…
My counselling education journey began back in 2011. Since then, I have worked in a variety of health & wellness support roles throughout Alberta and Vancouver Island. Most recently I had the pleasure of providing counselling services to Coast Salish communities on Vancouver Island and worked within a small counselling practice.
I weave my formal counselling background with my inner heart-centered knowing, pulling inspiration from various clinical approaches, while also drawing on the wisdom of my own human journey. My counselling approach is rooted in an integrative, non-pathologizing, trauma-informed, and strengths-focused perspective. In a nutshell, this translates to an intention to approach our work together holistically and collaboratively, to place less emphasis on “treating” and more on “co-creating,” to identify and harness your innate strengths, and acknowledge and honor your inherent wholeness, all while maintaining awareness of trauma and its impacts.
I find inspiration in Humanistic Psychology (Values the whole person), Transpersonal Psychology (Where psychology and spirit meet), Internal Family Systems (Inner “parts” work), Somatic/Body-centered approaches (Connecting with the wisdom of the body), Self-Compassion practice (Weaving compassion into one’s healing journey).
An insight I continuously return to through the years is that healing is less about arriving at a particular destination where we get “fixed,” and more about a journey of compassionate integration and radical acceptance of all parts of ourselves. Yes, even the parts of ourselves we dislike!
I am pleased to offer individual 1:1 counselling services for adults. If you connect with what you see here, I encourage you to reach out. I look forward to meeting you!

Hi everyone!
I’ve been a counsellor for just over 10 years and have been living in Whitehorse for 6 of those years.
I have my Bachelor in Arts (Honours) in Psychology from Concordia University in Montreal. I then went on to receive my Master in Educational Counseling (M.Ed) from the University of Ottawa.
Although there are a multitude of issues/topics that I work with, here is a sneak peek of some of them: suicide; self-harm; youth; transgender, two-spirit and non-binary; relationships, anxiety, depression.
In terms of theoretical approach, I come strongly from a Client Centered background, or in other words, a strong belief in the skills and strengths you hold, and also the relationship and rapport we build together as a team, navigating this journey together.
